A PSCO who went missing has been found safe and well.
PCSO Jim Newns, who covers the Lacey Green area of Wilmslow and previously worked in the village for three and a half years, was reported missing at 10.40pm on Saturday 30th July by concerned family.
The 48-year-old had last been seen at 1pm on Saturday at his home address in the Gawsworth area of Macclesfield.
This behaviour was completely out of character for Jim, officers became increasingly concerned for his safety and extensive enquiries were carried out in a bid to trace Jim.
Thankfully he was found safe and well about 10.30pm on Sunday, 31st July.
