Library_poster2

Children in school years 3 to 6 are being offered the opportunity to turn their ideas into an exciting action-packed football story which could be made into a book.

Wilmslow Library has launched the competition in conjunction with Wilmslow Football Academy. They are inviting children to write a short football story of between 700 and 800 words, and it must include some exciting football action!

The winning entry will be illustrated, made into a book and presented by a very special guest of honour. The presentation will take place at a ceremony at Wilmslow Library. All profits from the sale of the book will help to buy more life-saving defibrillators.

Download an entry form and terms and conditions or pick up a copy from Handforth, Wilmslow or Alderley Edge libraries. The closing date for entries is 1pm on Saturday 30th April 2016.
