A man who sadly died after being struck by a train at Alderley Edge station on Sunday 1st March has been named.
Officers from British Transport Police and Cheshire Police attended the incident just before 10am and Gerard Mulholland, 70, of Alderley Edge was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
