In Pictures: Red Nose Day 2015

Children had great fun today dressing up for Red Nose Day whilst also raising money for Comic Relief.

Pupils at Alderley Edge Community Primary School celebrated by wearing anything red and sporting big hair, raising £283 for the charity, and at Nether Alderley Primary they had a dress down day which raised £100.

At Alderley Edge School for Girls, the Juniors were invited to 'do something funny' to their face and/or hair in return for a donation.

Headteacher Bridget Howard said "Some wonderful sites greeted me in the assembly hall this morning and I was struggling to recognise the usually familiar, faces! I think the parents had as much fun as the girls in meeting this challenge!"

Whilst the Senior girls all wore red today and sixth former Daisy raised £45 with her Comic Relief cake and treats sale.

At Terra Nova School they were having a ball today, raising £655 for Comic Relief‬ and spreading some colour along the way.

Earlier in the week 1st Alderley Guides invited 1st Alderley Brownies to join their Comic Relief party and raised £68.
