We (Friends of Alderley Edge Park) recently had another meeting with officers from Cheshire East Council to discuss our proposals for the bandstand (shelter) in the park. After months of negotiation, we have now been able to resolve a number of matters and are pushing forward to ensure that the building provides not only a cafe but also as a building; a resource centre and valuable amenity for the local community for future years.
We are now keen to receive initial expressions of interest from local people and businesses who may be interested in operating "The Cafe in the Park" and would be delighted to hear from all interested parties.
