Parish councillors discussed the response to their Parish Pledge leaflet at their meeting on Monday, 8th December.
The leaflet was sent to the electorate of Alderley Edge to explain the Parish Council's plans to build a new medical centre, create a community hub at the festival hall, and improve parking in the village.
The document outlined their three point plan and invited residents to respond with their opinion.
Cllr Mike Williamson confirmed that the responses are coming in, but there has only been a relatively small number and they would like to encourage more people to let them know their thoughts.
He said "There are not as many as I would have liked but so far we are running 60/40 split in favour of what the Parish Council is trying to achieve.
"I hope more people are prepared to respond."
Cllr Melanie Connor commented "One of the things people have said to me is they probably won't respond but they were pleased to get the full story - not just do you want a green space.
"They were really pleased to find out there is going to be an even better allotment on Lydiat Lane and I explained some allotment holders have already looked at the plots they want on Lydiat Lane so it wasn't everybody who was arguing. They were very pleased and disgusted they had signed the petition in the first place."
Cllr Mike Williamson was not prepared to say how many people had responded so far but wanted to encourage more people to do so.
Residents are invited to email the Clerk of the Parish Council to tell them what you think.

Here's what readers have had to say so far. Why not add your thoughts below.
The PC has done well to go out in tis way ,I hope it is as transparent in presenting the results in a considered way , perhaps after review by someone with no vested interest.
Another news item on here published today suggests that the allotment holders will be forced off the Heyes Lane site by 31st Jan which, I reason, means that the decision to go ahead with the development has been taken.
Writing to the parish council saying that you support or don't support the development doesn't seem to be able to affect the outcome either way.
That aside , some of these councilor comments are hilarious and well worth reading for entertainment value.
