Having run a small family business in the Macclesfield area since 1981 John Singh was delighted to tell me about his new venture Fitted Interiors which will open it's doors at 41 London Road, formerly The Birdcage, in approximately four weeks.
John explained that his background is in supplying heating & hot water systems through his company ABR Heating & Electrical but in more recent years he has increasingly been asked by customers to install wet-rooms, bathrooms, kitchens etc, as well as assisting with design work. As a result John is launching Fitted Interiors, a one stop shop for tailor made fitted kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, home offices, flueless gas fires and more.
Working with a team of local tradesmen Fitted Interiors will also provide all of the plumbing, heating and electrical services for both private and business clients, including professional painting and decorating, building extensions, plastering, boiler servicing, central heating installation, repairs and upgrades and gas fire and cooker fitting.
John explained that he chose Alderley Edge for his first showroom "because 80% of his business comes from within a five mile radius of the village". He told me he faced a lot of competition for the site and is viewing this as a long term project, having taken out a ten year lease.
