Kids Car Boot and Swap Shop (KCBSS) which was set up in February by two familes in the Cheadle area, with the aim of running a series of events across the region which are exclusive to kids products, is coming to Alderley Edge.

Co-founder Lisa Farnell explained, "Most homes are full of toys and games that kids are bored of or clothes and bikes they have grown too big for. Going to an indoor KCBSS event is a great way of clearing out your home while having a fun day with the kids. But most of all its a great way for families to make some extra cash."

The events support Barnardos so you can clear the house of all the unwanted toys, games and clothes by getting the children to sell the things they no longer want, or swap them for something they do. Then instead of loading up the car and taking back home all the unsold and unswapped items you can just leave them behind, donating it all to the children's charity Barnados.

The charity then come round the following day to collect. According to co-founder Shane Crawford "KCBSS have already filled six vans full of donations which is worth in the region of £4200 to the charity"

The first KCBSS in Alderley Edge will take place on September 27th at the Festival Hall. To make an advance booking call 07748 601248 or visit our events calender for further details.
