Trafford Road is closed this morning (Monday, 23rd June) between Macclesfield Road and Chapel Road as a large tree is completely blocking the road.
The tree fell down about 5am and Cheshire East Highways are currently working to clear the road.
The road is expected to reopen about midday, in the meantime please avoid the area for the next few hours.
