Aldeli held a quiz night on Wednesday, 18th December, to raise funds for "Typhoon Haiyan" in the Phillipines.
Eight teams competed in the general knowledge quiz, with the Lonestars, a team of three, crowned the winners.
Guests were entertained with a mini carol service from local brass band called Classic Brass, provided with complimentary food and a raffle which, along with the entrance fees, raised £265 for the charity.
Ilana Higham, who organised the event, said "Upon seeing the tragic events that occurred after the devastation in the Phillipines I wanted to do something to help. I thought doing it at Christmas time would bring people together to do something that matters while having an enjoyable evening locally."
Stephen Higham added "Our thanks to all the participants plus the local traders and businesses who donated raffle prizes."
