During the month of June thirteen burglaries took place in the Wilmslow and Alderley Edge area.
Of these two occurred in Alderley Edge, on Brook Lane and Elm Grove, seven occurred in Wilmslow, three in Handforth and one in Styal.
There were also two attempted burglaries - one on Knutsford Road, Alderley Edge and the other on Racecourse Road in Wilmslow.
One vehicle was stolen from Brackenwood Mews, Wilmslow and there were six incidents of theft from vehicles in the area during the month of July, one of which occurred on Heyes Lane.
Additionally four sheds or outbuildings in Wilmslow and three in Handforth were broken into and had property stolen from them.
A police spokesperson said "With the warm weather still here please make sure that doors and windows are locked when you go out and that rear doors are secured even if you are just sitting in the garden. The warm weather does play a part in the amount of burglaries that occur at this time of year."
