Alderley Edge gets ready to rock

CRS fest

Castle Rock Studios are hosting a two day music festival in their own private grounds in Alderley Edge this month.

CRS is celebrating its first year in business by creating its own two day music festival which will showcase some of the Studios clients on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.

The inaugural festival will feature 30 acts that have either rehearsed or recorded at its Alderley Edge studio with an eclectic mix of music, ranging from classic rock to heavy metal on the Saturday, and pop to the very latest beats, laid down by international DJ's on the Sunday.

Managing Director John 'Stret' Stretford, commented "The Castle Rocks Music Festival is a further investment in our core values, enabling those that use our facilities to rehearse, record and perform. This will again highlight our commitment not only to our customers, but to emerging talent that has historically been labelled as unsigned and should in fact be recognised for their passion, belief and talent whether they are signed or not.

"This festival will give those that are in the line-up an invaluable experience on how to perform and connect with a live audience, while the audience themselves will enjoy being at the cusp of things to come".

The confirmed line up is:

Saturday 29th June: Soma Dark, Spike Island, Albino Gorilla, Degeneration Fuzz, Fidel & The Castros, Empire Signal, Vacant Lot, The Ordinary, The Longsands, The Middens, The Nightbreakers, No Mercy and Mike Tongue & The Grooves.

Sunday 30th June: Jay C & Jon Craig (DJ set), Haygamal, Kindiest of Thieves, Purge, White Eskimo, Milla Muse, Steve Thompson & The Incidents, Catherine Taylor Dawson, Sadie Pickering, Ashley Sherlock, John Ainsworth, Rolled Gold, Twinkle, Darby Ward and Emily Marsh.
