Local residents are invited to celebrate 50 years of the Beatles at a family orientated open air concert.

Brass and Beatles, featuring musical entertainment from The Backbeat Beatles and Vernon Building Society Poynton Brass band, will be held at Chandlers Farm in Nether Alderley.

The purpose of the concert is for families to get together and have fun in addition to raising money for a number of organisations. All profits from the event are distributed amongst the local Scout and Girlguiding groups, Wood Street Mission and Rotary Charities.

This successful event, which marks its 10th year, is the brainchild of Phillip Webb and his family and unfortunately this is likely to be the last one at this venue.

The event takes place on Saturday June 29th, gates open at 5pm with free parking and non-stop musical entertainment from 7pm until 10.30pm. Due to high recent demand this is a ticket only event, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Visitors are welcome to bring gazebos, picnics and drinks - and dance the night away to your favourite Beatles hits.
