Bar turns pink for charity

Cancer Research UK teamed up with The Bubble Room last week to host the "Going Pink" event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The bar was turned pink for the charity evening which raised £1926.

Over 120 guests enjoyed a glass of pink fizz on arrival, canapés, cupcakes and a raffle with loads of prizes kindly donated by local shops and businesses.

A speaker from Astra Zeneca said a few words early on in the evening to remind everyone of the great cause their money was going towards and once the raffle and speeches were over, guests danced the night away.

Hostess Emma Cail said "The event was a real success, we are so grateful for everyone's support and donations, and we are really proud with the amount we managed to raise."

Many many thanks to the lovely Emma, Lee and all the Mason family for supporting Cancer Research UK and the shop in the village for hosting a great night! All funds raised for Cancer Research UK raised in the Northwest remain in the vicinity to benefit us all. Big thank you to all who supported the event xx
