Charity bash raises over £750 for Cancer Research

Around 100 guests gathered at the Alderley Edge Cricket Club on Saturday, 6th October to help raise funds for a cancer charity.

Harris and Howard Bespoke Tailors, of George Street, joined forces with our local Cancer Research shop to host the fun charity evening.

Carl Emery, of Harris and Howard, said "The bubbly flowed and the clubhouse provided a tasty supper whilst a magician and DJ led to dancing in the early hours.

"A highlight came when Charles Lawson (Coronation Street's Jim McDonald) had party-goers rolling with laughter as he presented many generous raffle prizes from local traders to make it a truly memorable occasion."

The Edge Out Cancer event raised over £750 for Cancer Research UK.
