Alderley Edge U18s won their South Manchester Cup semi final against Poynton on Friday, 17th August.
In a match restricted to 15 overs a side, Alderley scored 168-2 with skipper Oli Hall smashing the ball around to score an impressive 107 not out. Poynton replied with 89-6 off their 15 overs.
Sleep deprivation from celebrating A and AS level results the night before was well concealed by the team.
The final is on Sunday 2nd September against the winners of the other semi final (Cheadle or Urmston).
