A teenager who arrested following a serious assault in Wilmslow has been released on conditional bail.
At around 9.35pm on Thursday 6th May police were called to reports that a teenager had been found with serious injuries on Dean Row Road.
Officers attended the scene and a 14-year-old boy from Wilmslow was found with a serious stab wound.
Having sustained serious injuries the boy was taken to Manchester Children's Hospital but has since been released from hospital.
A 14-year-old boy from Stockport was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of section 18 assault but has now been released on bail.
A police spokesperson said "Detectives are still appealing for information and for witnesses to come forward by contacting 101 and quoting IML 981705 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
