Sunday May 22nd sees the fabulous Makers Market head to Alderley Edge!

As part of the Alderley Edge May fair weekend, Alderley Edge Park will be transformed into a creative hub and a haven for food lovers. As well as the fairground, live performance stage and bar area we have over 70 stalls showcasing, meaning we will be packed full to bursting with Cheshire's very finest bakers, growers, crafters and foodies.

As always The Makers Market plans to raise the bar when it comes to proper gourmet food and the stalls showcasing will offer the crème de la crème of Northern treats alongside art, modern craft and Vintage Stalls....

With some live music performances, fairground and a full bar area thrown into the mix for good measure!

Check out the award winning Really Indian selling fresh curry sauces made from secret family recipes. The pie police won't be let down by Cumbrian Pies Growler, or the award winning Pie Love's veggie pies and Mahousive Sausage Rolls. There will be fresh from the oven stuffed breads by Hot Stuffed, Speciality Teas from the Tea Drop and Ian Treats famous Humungous sized Chocolate Brownies.

Mr Fatjax will be there with his award winning bengali Pineapple Chutneys. There will be locally made Honey from Alderley Edge Apiaries, Scotch eggs from Whites Delights and Spanish Deli from Sabor Ole.

Award winning cheeses from The Cheshire Cheese Co, blow your head off Chilli's from Bongo Chilli, vegan sweet tooth goodies from The Raw Bake Station and fresh roasted coffee beans from Second City. Go all organic on us and get yourself a locally grown fruit and veg box ordered from Groobarbs or pick up a Mezze Selection from Greek Oliver.

There will be locally made jams from Cheshire Preserves along with their famous Gin and Rhubarb Liqueurs. New to the block The Dough Co will be there with their stunning and sticky doughnuts. If prosecco is your tipple look no further than than 18DBC Wines stall.

Fresh out of Ice Cream Hibernation will be Ice Cream Creations, be sure to grab an ice cream cupcake on the way past!....

Mouth watering food aside don't miss Indrific's handmade wooden beach huts complete with rusty nail and sea glass trees. Photography from Ben Sedman and handmade beautiful children's clothes from Blooming Kiwi.

Pottery from Will Broughton and funky jewellery from Love of Lemons. Handmade Textiles from British Designers Posnor and Posnor and Moose heads galore from Libby Bower. There will be hand made Textiles from Sam Harding and stunning Kitchen ware from Utensil. The Weavers and Spinners Guild will be there along with a splendid selection of hampers and baskets from Tricklebank and Roses.

Ox Eye Daisy will be there with her stunning blue Summer House packed full of Summer Blooms and The Glass Gardeners with modern Glass Terrariums and cacti. For those wanting to play Finders Keepers check out Vintage Object d'art from Fizzy Vintage and up-cycled furniture from Vintage For Homes.

Ruslyn and Wood will be there with wooden ducks with high heels! And you can't miss Carl from Roadodendrons Bright blue van packed full with handmade wooden craft. No trip to a Makers Market would be complete without purchasing the obligatory retro head band from Okay Cokey!....

Looking for something to help you relax?... Check out Signature Soaps who will have an array of handmade bath goodies, goats milk bars and things to make your bath times fizz. Have a sniff at The Thomas Coles shower steamers and whilst your'e at it grab an Eco Soy Wax candle from Tipsy Hedgehog to really indulge those senses.

If you're popping down for a mooch with the pooch your four legged friend won't be let down by the doggie patisserie of The Woofleshire Bakery. Have your marvellous mutt photographed and handprinted onto stunning textiles from Wilmslow based funky artist Lorna from Hound and Hart.

If it's lunch you're after our street food arena promises to have you in Food heaven. You are going to love the boys from Whats your Beef, firing up the BBQ's with a whole load of beefy juiciness.

If it's a flavour of Italy that tickles your fancy try the Pizza Peddlers. Want to sample something across the pond? Thanya & Steve from Somtam Street known as the King and Queen of Thai street cuisine will have you sampling proper authentic street food originating from family recipes from a combination of imported Asian ingredients and fresh locally farmed produce. There will also be epic crepes for afters.

Pumping up the acoustic sounds will be the fabulous Loose Change Buskers. This hugely talented and inspirational group of 30 strong musicians have now raised in excess of £250,000 for Cancer Research. Led by Bernard and John the Loose Change Buskers have now become known as local celebrities and are well recognised and loved faces on the Makers Market scene.

If all this isn't enough for you... Check out the full bar and fairground!... There will be face painters for our little market visitors and a pop up vintage tea shop for those that need to put their feet up after spinning on the waltzers!..... This really is a date not to be missed!!
