The idea of being immersed in an alternative place has been around for many years but the technology has been both clunky and expensive. This year has seen the launch of many personal virtual reality headsets from Oculus, Samsung, HTC , Sony and others that look certain to achieve high uptake not just for gaming but serious applications such as design reviews, collaboration , training, visualisation, marketing and many others across many industries. Clicks and Links is at the forefront of this revolution working with cities, the built environment and infrastructure ( eg rail ) industry and training providers amongst others, on many exciting applications. We are using virtual reality to immerse people in models, video, scans and live streams from drones.
We now have an immediate need for talented individuals to join our team in Manchester and help us with these ground breaking applications. We need artists, designers and programmers; experience in the gaming industry would be an advantage but not necessary.
