Chelford Road to close for two days

A section of Chelford Road will be closed for two days next week to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out patching works.

The B5359 will be closed from the junction with Merrymans Lane to the junction with Chorley Hall Lane on Tuesday 1st March and Wednesday 2nd March between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

The alternative route will be via the following streets: Alderley Road B5359, Bollington Lane, Chelford Road B5359, Chelford Road A537, Congleton Road A34, Frog Lane Roundabout A34, Harden Park Roundabout A34, Melrose Way A34, Ryleys Lane B5359, Wilmslow Road B5359/B5087

The alternative routing instructions are, no doubt, technically perfect but fail completely to transfer any intelligence/help/useful information to your readers.

Why can you not simply display a map highlighting the closed roads and state the duration ?
