Alderley Edge Union Club is putting together something a bit different for their members, family and friends.
On Saturday 28th November they will host an evening of anecdotes, chat and tales with television presenter, actor and comedian Les Dennis.
Money raised from the event will be split between the Bosley Disaster Fund, Children's Adventure Farm Trust and the club's re-furbishment fund.
Terry Bowes, Secretary of Alderley Edge Union Club, said "We have been collecting for the Bosley Disaster Fund by way of a box on the bar since the disaster happened, we have had a box for the Children's Adventure Farm Trust for a number of years and one of our members (Graham Simister) is a fundraiser for them."
He added "I think they are two worthwhile causes and are local to us. We won't make a fortune for them due to the prices we charge but as a non profit business we want it to be affordable for everyone."
Tickets are limited and priced £5 each for members + one guest and £7.50 for non members. Call 01625 585506 or email union-club@outlook.com for tickets or further information.
The entertainment will start at 8.30pm.
