Dominic Brown sent this photo of Chorley Hall Lane which was taken around 12 o'clock on Tuesday, 10th August.
Dominic said "I've seen the road partially flood like that before as it does tend to slope down, but I've never seen it happen so quickly. Normally it takes a long time to get as bad as that.
"Thankfully it didn't last too long!"
