Following the recent resurfacing of Brook Lane, Talbot Road and Hough Lane, with Heyes Lane scheduled for resurfacing next year, progress is also being made to improve the state of some footpaths in the village.
Having met with the Area Highways Partnership on Tuesday, 20th September, Councillor Craig Browne is pleased to report that the footpaths on Moss Lane will be resurfaced.
Cllr Browne said "Level Two resurfacing (the same as has recently been carried out on Brook Lane, Hough Lane and Talbot Road) is scheduled to be carried out in November.
"I have reported Stevens Street and I am hoping that we might be able to get this done as part of the same job as the new parking bays."
If you know of any other footpaths that need resurfacing email Councillor Craig Browne, who will be holding his monthly community surgery at Aldeli on Saturday, 24th September from 10am to 11am.
Residents are invited to go along to speak to Craig about any community issues that are affecting them, or to just join him for a coffee.
