Costa is being refurbished

Costa is looking a bit of a mess this morning as the refurbishment works have started.

The place is being repainted, a lighter colour inside and brown outside, and there will be new furniture, new carpet, new pictures and a new coffee machine is being delivered on Monday morning.

This means they will be without a coffee machine for a few hours on Monday from about 8 am until 10.30 am.

The plan is to have everything finished so the new look can be unveiled on Tuesday.

Went in today to see the refurb, as if I needed an excuse.

Given I spend so much time in Costa, my husband calls it my second home, it will take me a couple more visits to get used to.

I do like the lighter walls and it’s good to have new tables and chairs. My little girl loved the leather stool which will no doubt be a magnet for the little ones - given how clumsy my youngest is I am expecting a few accidents.

The balloons also went down very well.
