CEC is to produce a new strategy for its parks.
There exists a Draft Parks Strategy document. A copy of it is to be read on the Parish Council web site (19 pages of it).
One point in it (as I read it) is that any Parish Council wishing to obtain monies will have more chance if there is a ‘Friends of the Park’ group.
If anyone is interested, I will try to set up some form of such a group.
There was a F. of the P. group once upon a time but it ‘folded’. I hope that those good people who were involved in that will come forward again, together with new people.
