Some people have complained to me about youngsters playing football on the tennis courts. When remonstrated with, the youngsters replied that there was no sign to say they couldn’t !
There is now.
A couple of years ago I persuaded CEC to pay for installing land drains under the football area (and new goalposts).
But still there are those who play footy on the tennis courts and/or the bowling green.
Funny old world isn’t it (sigh).
