Rat alley

There is an unnamed lane, between the AE station car park and Davey Lane. It is useful to people who wish to enter the village, from the north side, without crossing London Road.
Recently two people told me that they had seen rats in the alley. Scary or what?
I have got CEC Environmental Health to agree to come and inspect.
Hopefully all will soon be well. If you wish to follow with complaints of your own, please ‘phone or email Cheshire East Environmental Health; they are located in Sandbach.
By the way, they weren’t confusing rats and squirrels.

Hi Duncan,
I use the Cinder Path every day and it is highly possible that rats are present after all it’s a railway banking, ideal for them, the amount of litter etc on the banking is like walking into a larder for a rat. Problem is even if the litter is cleared rats and rabbits love bankings.
They’re probably high as kites as well, the amount of deal bags you see up there!!
