The attempt to control indiscriminate parking on the A34 exit to the South has of course managed to worsen the situation. Cars now park beyond the entrance to the Trafford Arms car park up to the brow of the hill causing approaching traffic to have to cross the centre line to pass, causing traffic leaving the village to squeeze against the kerb.
Now about a dozen cars are parking all day on the left side going South on and obstructing the pavement by parking over it.
Driving out of St. Hilary’s Park is becoming daily more hazardous.
I wrote a year ago that situation was developing and worsening. Exactly this has happened.
There will of course eventually be a bad accident.
