I note that two small but deep potholes on Talbot Road have been “identified” for attention. However, as the entire road (like many others in the vicinity)  is a mass of smaller but large potholes, would it not be more sensible and possibly cost effective to resurface all of this road which is in very poor condition?

Talbot Road was identified in the Asset Investment Programme (which is the name the Council has given to the work to repair or replace the road network across the Borough) last year for resurfacing in 2013/2014.

I have sent an enquiry to Cheshire East Council asking if the road is going to be resurfaced, or just 2 pot holes repaired.

In fact, this very morning, they filled in the two deep potholes leaving all the rest of the road (including the areas abutting on the repaired potholes) in the previous dreadful condition
