Black dog found in the Heyes Lane area

Lisa Reeves	We have received reports that a dog has been found this afternoon running around the Heyes Lane area of the village. It seemed really scared, a few people have seen it but have not been able to get hold off the dog. We understand it was given a bowl of water but as soon as anyone tried to get close it ran off. The people who reported this are not sure of the breed of the dog but said it was back and of medium size.

Lisa Reeves	Cheshire Police have received reports of a black collie dog (PJ) that has been lost in the area. It is a rescue dog and described as very timid so likely to be the same dog. If you see the dog please call Cheshire Police on 101.
