Alderley Christmas lights.

Graham McLelland	I have to say the display of lights through Alderley Village looks brilliant well done to all. Last sunday my wife and I went to Manchester in the late morning to attend a carol service.When we arrived in Piccadilly from there up to and including the gardens looked more like a 4th world country never mind a 3rd world.There was not one light or decoration or anything to say it was Christmas so well done Alderley Edge.

Duncan Herald	Hi Sarah…(1) ‘cos people say they like the lights on during dark winter nights (2) to encourage people to visit the village and stimulate trade. (3) they are not especially costly to ‘run’.
