Parking at girls school

I am seriously having a rant this evening, maybe because of the weather.
This morning like every other morning I take my daughter to school in Wilmslow, but unfortunately I have to turn into London Road out of Davey Lane and then into Knutsford Road.  That means I have to pass the Girls school.  Like every morning 4x4’s, etc park everywhere and anywhere to drop Girls of at the school.
I was in the queue to turn right into London Road, when a big black Audi (not a 4x4) pushed the left back corner of my car because he was in a hurry.  I have the first part of the registration number of this vehicle.
When is someone going to do something about the parking at the Girls school, enough is enough?  Sometimes in the mornings it can take up to ten minutes just to turn into London Road out of Davey Lane.  It is even very dangerous for parents and children that walk to Alderley Edge’s Primary School by crossing Davey Lane towards Aldeli.
Does double yellow lines mean nothing these days? OR does it mean how many cars and 4x4’s we can park on them to disguise it?

SORT THIS OUT PLEASE!!!!!

Avoid that junction?????

That is fresh!!!!

How do you suggest I do that?

Double yellow lines means no parking! Or am I wrong?

Clearly Trevor you don’t drive that route in the morning or afternoon.

And what would you suggest the Head does about it Trevor. The Head of the Ryleys is powerless to do much, you can request till the end of time but selfish, inconsiderate people think he will mean other people…not them. Pretty much the same at the Girls school.

You have my sympathy Laura.

Laura, I used use Brook Lane FOUR times a day when working so I do know what it’s like, but there is always another way round, yes it may use more fuel and take slightly longer, but it could be safer until our police/council do something about it.
Or you could let your daughter walk to school if she is old enough.

I am sure Laura’s daughter will have long left school by the time the police or council do anything about it. I mean it’s happening five days a week for goodness knows how many weeks a year and it’s still happening but where are the police…........?

And why should someone have to drive out of their way because inconsiderate people park illegally.

I agree with Laura, the police and traffic wardens should monitor it for a few days to see just how many people park illegally and issue tickets, they are quick enough to do it on Clifton street and other parts of the village.
It is also very dangerous at that time of day
