I am a mum of two young girls who is also trying to juggle making jewellery and other handmade items. I, with a friend in the same situation, am looking at organising a craft fair type event specifically showcasing the work of local mums who otherwise find it difficult to get their stuff ‘out there’. If you make cards, childrens wear, or anything really (!) please get in touch.

Hi Jane, I’m a local mum too and am a jewellery designer with a studio out at Nether Alderley. I’m happy to get involved with organising an event locally. Let me know if you’d like to get together. Rebecca x

Hi there Jane & Rebecca,
I run a bespoke online stationery business, Dandelion Lounge, and am also part of a local “mums in business” networking group where there are many different business - potters, artists, jewellery, clothing, bag specialists etc. We’ve run a few similar type events successfully over in Altrincham/Hale so if you’re interested in linking up to help with your fair I can definately put you in touch with a number of people able and willing to help.
Let me know!
Best wishes
Claire

Hello there
I don’t *make* anything but I do have Usborne Books for children, gorgeous books from an ethically made background. If that is ok for you, please let me know if I can join in the fair and if not then perhaps for future fairs that incorporate more kinds of gifts.
thankyou ladies

I’m not a mummy but I do make things - and I am just about to move to the area from Altrincham. I make lampwork glass beads under the name Cheeky Cherub Designs. Should you decide to extend to non-mummies, I’d be interested.

Hi Jane,
I am a disabled mum whos kids are in their late teens and i make cards. As I have just been in hospital I have been unable to sell my Christmas cards to help raise some money for charity. In the new year i am hoping to make some more cards for different occasions and would welcolme advice on how to sell them. It would be good if there was a group for crafters in this area. As a beginner i would welcolme any advice.
Many thanks Gill
