I have found a cat on Macclesfield road, it is a feline domestic tabby, it had no collar and was not micro chipped. If you or you know anyone who owns the cat, please leave a message on here and i will tell you where to collect it from.

We have a cat that has appeared at our house hes here all day and maybe all night we only know hes still outside trying to get in in the early hours.
We have stopped feeding it in the hope he will go back home. But it hasnt worked hes still there. He looks very well looked after it appears to be a tabby in grey its very loving and as i said looks well looked after with nice fur and hes affectionate towards humans.
Could this be the same cat? Im worried he is out all night and not used to it as he seems to be wanted to come into the house at every opportunity and is always very thirsty.
Does this sound familiar? Somebody on here did say they could scan the cat so maybe we can arrange this if it is the same cat - Laura

catcall24 at hotmail.co.uk is the email address of the Animal Support Volunteers. I am going to Tyler Street this afternoon to see if I can scan Laura’s visiting cat. I can pop round to Macclesfield Road to look at the other one if that is convenient. As I don’t have email on my mobile, ring or text me on 07885 458 583 to make contact this afternoon.

Yeah were all concerned that its just turned up as it doesnt seem to belong to anybody on Tyler street. Will try putting a flyer out around the houses locally. Thing is its currently curled up on our door mat in a little bed I put out for him and he seems to try to come in everytime we open the door so if he lived locally surely he would go home as he seems to be used to being indoors. Im really keen to find out where he lives just for peace of mind!

Quick update: Tabby in Tyler Street not microchipped when I checked him this afternoon. Have taken a photo of him and will put a safety collar on him on Tuesday to see if an owner responds.
I could do with Wesley contacting me regarding the cat he found on Friday. 07885 458 583

Laura, our cat, Frankie, adopted us in exactly the same way on the day we moved into our house 4 years ago. After refusing to feed her or let her into the house for 2 weeks, I caved because she didn’t go away. I got her checked up and her microchip read at the vet’s. Turned out the information on it was incorrect, so she got to keep us. She’s curled up on the chair next to me as I write. Some cats just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer…!

As Winter approaches, I am just updating my list of outdoor cats to keep an eye on. Has the Tabby from Tyler Street adopted anyone there yet or does he need an outdoor shelter, wormer, or flea stuff? Or has he gone back from whence he came? Tregony, Animal Support Volunteers.
