Hello everyone,

Today a cat turned up on my door step. Looks very well looked after but seems lost. Grey with a striped tail.

Runs straight into the my house so seems to be used to home comforts.

I will look after him/her until vets are open to check for micro chip on Tuesday.

Let me know if you or any friends are missing a cat.

Cheers

Paul and Laura

Hi all sorry, I haven’t had time to check back in. After looking after the cat it disappeared for a couple of days so we assumed it returned home, but was on my door step at 5am this morning so I’m not sure if it has a home to go to or is lost. My e-mail is

if anyone wishes to contact me privately. I live on Tyler muse so it sounds likely to be related to the cat found post on the 10th. Thanks for the micro chip offer, thats very kind of you. If no one claims it soon that would be a really good option.

Kind Regards

Hi everyone this is laura (part of Paul and laura!)
I’m really quite keen to get this cat home as it seems to be out all night and not used to it. He keeps trying to come into the house at every opportunity and we can’t take him in as we have a dog. He’s very affectionate to humans and seems to be used to lots of cuddles and fuss we have stopped feeding it but I still give him water. It’s tipping it down tonight and I’m worried he’s stuck outside and cold and not used to it.
I f anyone would like to contact me I can’t seem to put my email address out but he’s in Tyler street (small mews culdesac) everyday all day if he belongs to you he’s grey and tabby with a beautiful soft coat.

Quite fitting that this cat has been found in a ‘mews’.

Laura, if it isn’t Lisa filtering your email address, it may be the software.
Try typing ‘at’ instead of the symbol.  eg blah at blahblah.com

Paul, I would suggest accepting the chipscan offer sooner rather than later.
Why wait?

catcall24 at hotmail.co.uk   That is the email address of the Animal Support Volunteers.  I will pop round to Tyler Street and make some enquiries this afternoon and I will bring the scanner with me.  Sounds to me as if this cat is living a double life - I once dealt with three householders who each believed that they owned the same cat!!

I think that may be happening haha! Its only because he wants to come indoors all the time i thought he must be used to home comforts… im a bit of a softie and have been worrying about him! hes most likely using us for food haha but who knows? Id rather fid his owners to be sure.

Anyone read ‘Six Dinner Sid’? A lovely tale (tail?) I used to read to my children about a moggy who had several ‘owners’. Those of us who love cats know you never ‘own’ one!

Quick update:  I went to Tyler Street this afternoon and found the cat - sadly he is not microchipped.  I am busy with Dog Training classes tomorrow but on Tuesday I will put a safety collar on him and see if that results in contact from the actual owner.  I firmly believe that he is working the system to the maximum!!
