'Vodafone call home'

Jerry Howitt	Is anyone else having signal problems with iphones in Alderley on the Vodafone network? My phone, (iphone 4), keeps dropping the phone signal in the village. Have replaced the SIM and done a restore as ‘new’ phone via my desktop but the problem persists, even when running on 2G. The Apple store at The Trafford Centre offered to replace it for £119, as out of warranty but am making this post to determine whether there is a network service issue first. Thankyou.

Gerald Tebb	This seems to be a problem beyond Alderley Edge. I live in Wilmslow and the Vodafone signal has been very poor for a few weeks.

Jerry Howitt	Thanks for the report Gerald. Obviously I have contacted the Vodafone call centre, who have confirmed that they are currently upgrading/ maintaining mast 37747, ( the mast located at The Festival Hall I presume ), which will effect the service for the duration. They kindly extended me a £10 credit for the inconvenience. Apparently, of all smartphones, iphones are the most susceptible to fluctuations in signal integrity.
