Does anyone know how this is progressing please? I seem to remember that the Council announced that the investigation would be costing £1500 per day, and it feels as if rather a lot of days have passed since that statement.

Does the silence mean that no-one knows? Or is it that people are bored with this now? Either way, it feels a bit disturbing. |

Dear Elaine Perhaps too much time has elapsed since your posting, but the link here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/the_report_of_the_designated_ind#incoming-348757 requests information on the costs and the outcome. You can “follow” the progress of the request on the website, or get email updates Best wishes Jon |

Dear Jon Thank you. I am familiar with the What Do They Know website, having posted some FOI requests relating to CEC’s social services arrangements on there recently. I decided to use this site after failing to get an answer to an earlier direct question. Waiting to see what sort of result I get this time. I hope, for the sake of all CEC taxpayers, you are successful in securing the release of the waste transfer report. Best wishes Elaine |
