Heyes Lane/London Road

Turning right out of Heyes Lane to London Road is very dangerous due to a hill, trees obscuring the view and the speed of some traffic along London Road.

It could be easily and relatively cheaply made much safer by the provision of a mirror. Why has this not been done? Do we have to wait until somebody is injured or killed?

A mirror is not thr answer to this very serious problem as headlights at nigh would create grave dangers.

Speed f trafic over the railway bridge has increased since the opening of the by-pass and this junction needs urgent attention. Taffic Lights combined with the existing pedestrian crossing would be the ideal solution, there would have to be good warning of them for southbound traffic
coming over the railway bridge but this is very necessary in any case and should have been done long ago.

Is there a reason why the traffic lights can’t be raised higher so that they can be visible to motorists coming from the Wilmslow end, before they come over the rise of the bridge .I have seen it on other roads in the UK.I do realise that it will take a bit of planning as the lights still have to be visible from the village end too.Just a suggestion.
