Te real people of Alderley??

Graham McLelland	Looking through the list of local eateries and pubs , i came across a statement which said “Good place to meet the real Alderley people!” could Mandy Parr please to satisfy my curiosity tell me who are these people ?and what does it take to become one of these people?Is it number of yrs in the village?wealth?status?where you live? as i say it is for my curiosity .

Steve Marshall	I’ve lived in Alderley Edge all my life & have yet to meet the Wizard or any of the sleeping knights, Graham. Perhaps they are not real after all. Lots of “plastic” folk in certain bars & cafes though!

Karen Robinson	I think you’ll find the “real” people in the Union Club! Especally on Sat 14th for the Beer Festival. With a umpah Band in the evening.

Graham McLelland	Well it seems the “Real ” people of this place called Alderley are either found in the local p[ub or club,,that being the case i am very very pleased i dont live in “alderley” i am proud to live in Alderley Edge a real village with real people.Like Steve i have lived here most of my life (63yrs) and i love the village but the village for me extends beyond London Rd ,it is the whole parish.
