This week I went along to meet Graham Farrand who manages the Festival Hall and has 30 years experience running community halls. Noticeably more events have been taking places at the Festival Hall in recent months such as The White Company clearance sale last week, Kids Car Boot and Swap shop last Sunday and the Abba Tribute night alderleyedge.com sponsored earlier in the month.

In addition to these events though there are a number of weekly activities taking place which many local residents might not be aware of. Open bowls takes place Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9.30 (10.30 on Mondays) and Tuesday afternoons at 1.30. The local Probus club meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 10.30 and there is also bridge, ballroom dancing and dog training classes every week. For further information contact the Festival Hall on 01625 582150 or Graham on 07889 199046.
