Have you a spare out - house, small barn, garage, workshop I could use??

Kind hearted?  I need a place to set up a workshop. I was made redundant out of the blue in October last year after a 15 year old career in education. Although I am trying to gain employment, primarily with the National Trust I would also like to harness my passion for some things that previosuly I have done in my spare time and enjoyed and if possible make this into a small rural buisness.  All I need is the space to do it.  Have you somewhere that is currently not being used? It needs to be dry and with elctricity supply ( for a sewing machine). I wont discuss all the bits of my buisness on here but will be happy to discuss in further detail with my benefactor, should one arise. Its a country side buisness basically.

Can anyone out there help me get this show on the road?  I wouldnt be able to pay much as I am only receiving job seekers allowance. But as I have a brand new allotment you will recieve a nice veggie box, when I get through tthe weeds!! I am 44 years of age and worked from the age of 15. I am finding being unemployed frustrating to say the least.  Alhough I live in Alderley ( I had to give up my home and move in with my boyfriend) the space wouldnt neccessarily have to be in Alderley.

I hope there is somebody that can help me get these wheels in motion and kick start this new and exciting venture.

Thank you

Jo-Anne

Hi Jo-Anne

If you are inundated with offers of workshop space, perhaps you could pass these details on!  I run the Animal Support Volunteers, helping animals in need; and we desperately need dry storage space for items given to us to either sell or use in looking after the rescues.

If your new business involving use of a sewing machine is anything to do with making coats for goats - then I may be your first customer!  My two Golden Guernsey goats are currently wearing winter-weight foal rugs but they don’t really fit them too well.

my email address is
