Fishing in Alderley?

I am not familiar with local waters, but the largest angling club in Europe was founded in the Prince Albert pub in Macclesfield. They can be contacted at: Prince Albert Angling Society, PO Box 151, Macclesfield, SK10 2HR.

there is a trout pool on the road into Mobberley.  It’s on the right hand side just before the bird in hand.

there is a pit on top of the edge we used to fish as kids ,there used to be fish in chorley hall moat but thats always been no fishing, ostlers nursery on merrimans lane warford own what used to be moscrops pit on ancoats lane and thats day ticket the car park is up from the stag inn and the pit is across the field good luck

If you are a carp fisherman - My hubby goes to Goose Green Farm in Mottram - it is proper carp pool and lake set up.
Might be worth checking out - He has pulled some big ones out of there!
