Favourite photos captured on walks by members of East Cheshire Ramblers will go on display at a public exhibition on Tuesday September 1st at the Waterside Cafe in Bollington’s Clarence Mill. The photos, which include views, wildlife, flowers and other memorable moments, have been chosen from more than 100 permanently displayed in a picture gallery on the group’s website at http://www.ramblerseastcheshire.org.uk.
Thirty pictures selected by chairman Sandra Edwards and Bollington Photographic Society will be shown in two lots of 15 over the course of the month before being made available for public viewings at other local venues.
Said Sandra, “The photos show beautiful landscapes in the Peak District and other popular walking locations in all seasons – in snow, mist and sun – as well as pictures of our members enjoying the varied walks provided by our programme organisers. As such, the exhibition represents a kaleidoscope of wonderful walking memories caught on the cameras of East Cheshire Ramblers’ keenest photographers.”
The exhibition has been arranged by the group’s webmaster, Graham Beech, who added, “ Public libraries and other local organisations who would like to borrow the exhibition are welcome to contact me via the website.”
