My wife and I went on the National Trust warden guided walk yesterday 18.8.10 ‘Hidden secrets of the Edge’ Starting at 2pm we were still going over three hours later - brilliant, we really enjoyed it. The guide (apologies we cannot recall his name) was a mine of local information and personal anecdotes. We highly recommend taking the effort to go when its next on, we believe its done on a monthly basis.

I met with the organisers John Hillary and Robin Salmon, in May when I first heard about this series of walks - they have wealth of knowledge and passion about this area.

These free walks will be taking place every Sunday from August 1st until September 5th, starting at 2pm from the National Trust car park.

See my article about the Hidden Secrets of Alderley Edge, http://bit.ly/bOOpFV, or our events section for further information.
