Dress Alterations - recommendations

I am going to a wedding abroad in August and am looking for an experienced seamstress to take up my bridesmaids dress plus a couple of other alterations. Does anyone know who could be able to help me? I live in Alderley so locally would be great. Thank you!

Mani - at the bottom of Brook Lane - just near the Lavender Tree are very good, fast and reasonable.  With Brook Lane closed you will need to follow the diversion down Knutsford Road, but lots of friends have used them too and they always do a very good job

Mani are excellent - I totally agree with what Jane says.

The only thing I’d say is if you do go I’d implore you to park considerately. I live two doors away and often wind up walking on the road (a dangerous occupation on that stretch!) because the path is blocked by people going there and leaving their cars blocking the pavement.
