New off licence opening in village

Lisa Reeves	The old Threshers building is currently being repainted. Apparently an independent off licence is taking over the premises. The painters told me it was going to be a lap dancing club, they were joking weren’t they ..

Lisa Reeves	We understand from one of our members that the old Threshers unit has been taken over by Portland Wines, who also have a shop in Hale.

Craig Wilson	It would have been funny if a Bargain Booze went in, would keep the local moaners going for years ;-) If a lap dancing club went in, I would fear for their lives ! :-)
