A community event at 6.30pm starting with the bells ringing out, followed by a fish and chip supper and entertainment. Then a service of thanksgiving with I Vow to thee my Country and the lighting of the beacon.
- 6.30pm Bells ring out in celebration
- From 7.00pm VE Day Entertainment & Fish & Chip Supper. Tea, Coffee & Cake included but feel free to bring other drinks
- 8.30pm Worship as the nation worshipped did in 1945
- 9.15pm "I vow to thee my country", National Anthem and the lighting of our beacon
