The May meeting takes on a slightly different format to the usual meetings as it will start with tea/coffee and cake, followed by a brief AGM.
The speakers are both members of Wilmslow Historical Society.
Hilary Howard will give a beautifully illustrated presentation on local-born artist "Charles Tunnicliffe" and she will be followed by Jon Armstrong with his intriguingly entitled "In search of William Herbert Watney of Styal".
Entrance fee is £5. Students are admitted free.
They will meet at 7.30 for 8.00pm in the Large Hall, United Reformed Church, Chapel Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 1PR.
Parking is available in the Health Centre car park adjacent to the Hall.
