Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra Concert

Wilmslow Symphony orchestra's concert will begin with two works new to the orchestra, the premier of the Alamein Overture by David Meakin and Penillion, an increasingly popular symphonic poem composed by Grace Williams and inspired by Welsh folksong.

The final work in the concert is the melodic, emotional and tumultuous Symphony No.1 by Mahler, known as the Titan.

Tom Newall is the conductor and their leader is Rosy Williams!

The concert is in the Evans Hall at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
