Giving Voice to Lindow Moss – an Eco Poetry Workshop
For beginners and experienced writers alike. A workshop with a focus on Lindow Moss. We will develop new writing in response to a range of poems and prompts.

Change your diet: the easiest way to help reduce your climate impact with Professor Sarah Bridle
Food currently causes about a quarter of all climate change and this is set to rise. Sarah Bridle, author of Food and Climate Change - Without the Hot Air talks about how different food choices contribute to climate change and what you can do about it.

Wilmslow's Natural Landscape with Professor John Handley
Wilmslow and its surrounding countryside is among the most diverse places in the county. This circular walk from Wilmslow Parish Hall is intended to illustrate that, taking in flood plain forest, ancient broad-leaved woodland, grasslands, fen, heath and moss.

A 2-3 hour walk around Lindow Moss interspersed with poetry readings and information about the ecology and unique history of the moss.

Family guided walk on Lindow Moss with Professor John Handley
A guided walk through open countryside to explore the history and ecology of the Lindow Moss landscape, to include the prospects for restoration of the cutover peat bog at Lindow Moss and the story of the discovery of Lindow Man, an almost intact Iron Age bog body.

There's so much to be gained from a day out together volunteering in the fresh air at Quarry Bank. Come and join us as we help the plant trees on the estate.
